New AMS regulations for exports to China as of June 1, 2018

Effective June 1, 2018, China Customs adjusts and strengthens AMS (Advance Manifest System) regulations.

For any cargo destined for Chinese ports and transhipment via these ports, this regulation stipulates that it is now necessary to provide company codes (Company Codes) and the contact details of shippers (shippers) and consignees (Consignees).

Consignees must be identified by the new USCC code for any export to China.

All full containers, as well as empty SOC (Shipper Owned Containers) must be declared no later than 24 hours before loading on the vessel bound for China or via China.
