Le rythme des commandes s\u2019est consid\u00e9rablement ralenti, \u00e0 cause de la surcapacit\u00e9, ce qui restera de mise au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es. La baisse des co\u00fbts au slot gr\u00e2ce aux grands ULCS n\u2019est valable que si ces navires sont pleins de cargaisons, ce qui ne s\u2019est pas produit.<\/p><p>Si un retour \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quilibre offre\/demande se manifeste en 2020, les commandes seront relanc\u00e9es pour des navires toujours plus grands.<\/p><p>Dans 50 ans, soit en 2067, interviendraient des navires de 50 000 EVP, autonomes, ce qui irait de pair avec des drones modulaires g\u00e9ants et des conteneurs flottants. Entre-temps, le volume de trafics de conteneurs serait de deux \u00e0 cinq fois sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p><h2>Une digitalisation de toutes les op\u00e9rations<\/h2><p>Selon McKinsey, d\u2019ici l\u00e0, trois \u00e0 quatre op\u00e9rateurs majeurs auront \u00e9merg\u00e9 tandis que toutes les op\u00e9rations auront \u00e9t\u00e9 digitalis\u00e9es. On peut s\u2019attendre que, d\u2019ici cinq ans, les exp\u00e9diteurs ind\u00e9pendants disparaissent.<\/p><p>Les interactions digitales mettront fin aux interm\u00e9diaires et autres participants de la logistique dans le cadre de la \u201csupply chain\u201d.<\/p><h3>Reste \u00e0 savoir si les chargeurs vont suivre aveugl\u00e9ment ?<\/h3><p>Quant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution des trafics, les courants deviendront de plus en plus forts en Asie de l\u2019Est, du Sud-Est.<\/p><p>Le second trafic d\u00e9coulera du lien entre ces r\u00e9gions et l\u2019Afrique avec un arr\u00eat en Asie du Sud.<\/p><p>Il est \u00e9vident que bien des d\u00e9veloppements vont encore intervenir sur le plan des technologies en mati\u00e8re de construction navale et des concepts informatiques.<\/p><p>N\u00e9anmoins, nous avons encore en m\u00e9moire certaines th\u00e9ories qui pr\u00e9valaient il y a une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es dans un autre secteur du matirime : le transport p\u00e9trolier. C\u2019\u00e9tait la course du gigantisme.
